Are you suffering from snoring, obstructive sleep apnea or are you experiencing debilitating TMJ pain?

Maybe it’s time to try oral appliance therapy and other conservative treatment options.

At Sleep Apnea and TMJ Therapy of Southern New England, we’re dedicated to helping you get a good night’s sleep, by managing your obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and helping you to experience improved quality of life by managing your TMJ pain. As you know, sleep apnea and TMJ can be quite debilitating — and sometimes OSA can deadly.

Our custom-fit dental devices and other conservative treatment modalities provide you with viable solutions for CPAP-intolerance and TMJ pain. Regarding OSA, studies have demonstrated similar effectiveness between CPAP and oral appliance therapy, even if you have moderate-to-severe OSA.

More convenient than a CPAP. Just as effective.

Studies have demonstrated that oral appliance therapy (OAT) effectively treats OSA through reduction in apnea-hypopnea index and respiratory disturbance index in patients. Studies have also demonstrated similar effectiveness between OAT and CPAP, even among patients with moderate-to-severe OSA.

Additionally, as many as 81% of patients prefer OAT to CPAP because it is effective, easy to use, easy to transport, quiet, comfortable, noninvasive, and less obtrusive.
